This Kit began with a feeling that “Here” is home.

We wanted something humble yet enduring — a set of small artifacts to mark arrival, to slow down, to belong. From the embossed Reveal Card to the terracotta candle, every piece is chosen with intention.

The Kit is the first edition, a beginning — part of a larger practice of being more here.

    GF Smith papers, UK-made since 1885. Natural wool felt and Atelier Cera wax seals — chosen for texture, longevity, and care.

    A proper bar, handmade in the UK from natural oils and embossed with our glyph. The candle is 100 % beeswax, poured into terracotta.Everyday rituals done well.

  • Metal, Seeds & Cloth

    A numbered brass token, wildflower seedballs, and a muslin wrap stamped with our glyphs. Each chosen for its best qualities.

Who is the Kit of Here for?

It’s for arrivals, returners, housewarmers, and anyone exploring what it means to feel at home - in the neighbourhood, country, planet, universe or in yourself. Some receive it as a thoughtful welcome gift; others keep it as a personal field kit for finding your place.

When should I buy the Kit?

Anytime you want!

Many people give the Kit as a meaningful housewarming gift, arrival present, or ritual box for new beginnings. It could be a welcome box for a student starting university or a new employee in a new place. People who like geography, rituals, places and making a home.

Every element is designed to be used, not stored, slowly disappearing into daily life.

Once I've bought the Kit, where do I begin?

Start with The Message. It’s tucked inside an ember-coloured envelope at the top of the Kit. Open it first: a short guidance, a way in. From there, each artifact finds its place.

If I send it as a gift, what happens?

At checkout you can add a personal note.

We print it on our in-house gift card and hand-pack it inside the Kit box. Every Kit ships tracked within the UK in a kraft mailer - protective, presentable, and personal.

What about returns or replacements?

You can return your Kit within 30 days, unused and in its original condition. Once it’s safely back with us, we’ll process a refund. Nothing leaves without a human touch, and we’ll take it back the same way.

Will there be another edition?

This is First Edition 001–100. Future editions may come, but this run won’t be repeated. Sign up to Field Notes below if you’d like to hear when the next one arrives.

Can you tell me more about how you created such ingenious packaging? ;-)

By treating packaging as part of the Kit, not an afterthought. The organic cotton and bamboo muslin wrap is stamped and reusable. The wax seals are real Atelier Cera wax and the papers and felt were chosen for feel not cost. Even the box itself is part of the reveal. Every layer is deliberate and designed to be opened, kept, or recycled with care.
